[ her move is incredibly impressive in terms of thinking things through, and while he hears the gunshot come from one direction, he doesn't have the time to go there immediately because that stalactite is cracking loudly and dropping down on him. He moves and is able to get out of its range, but he ends up further away from her original spot in the process, whistling towards the debris that was close to hitting him once it's all on the ground, to express his awe. ]
So you're not just a good shot, after all. [ really, Childe's torn about this: he feels that the Kenoma could use a lot of the people on the Pleroma side as very few of the Kenoma seem that willing to do much of anything, but that would mean he wouldn't have the chance to battle with such impressive people unless he could convince them all to fight in spars all the time. He imagines that would be rather difficult, and thus, opportunity to gain strength by learning from others just as strong and stronger would be lost.
Childe does make his way at a casual place towards the area Caitlyn was hiding before (but not the exact spot,) so she did good to move. His eyes are sharp, and his ability to use the current moisture in the air to sense things in the area would probably have him found her, especially with the fact her gun (that he assumes is something like his own hydro blades) might give of enough magic for him to detect the difference in the atmosphere. He stands there a moment, silent, before he's pulling his two hydro blades to form a double bladed polearm. With one swing the stalagmites in that area, including the ones she had previously hid behind, slide apart like a hot knife cutting through butter. Perhaps he could have done that on the falling one, as well. Perhaps he could have just done that to begin with, it's uncertain what he's about with both his mannerisms and choice of actions. The only thing for sure is that he's practically giddy with a disturbed excitement that no one should be about fighting. ]
So, not only did you distract me, but you moved! [ this is interesting. He wishes he had hours to play this game with her, because he loves for the thrill of the actual chase. He doesn't have that kind of time, though (and neither does she,) so he'll have to try a little harder to pinpoint her. There's a good chance she's now in a better spot to disable him further than before, and he is going to have to search for a general direction as to where she may have gone, which means his eyes are quickly darting around the cave for places that look good. Unfortunately, it's dark and there are many places to camp out in this chaotic situation.]
How did the Pleroma pull in so many interesting people, I wonder.
[ he's talking to himself, but he's very much looking and prowling for any hints as to where she's run off to. ]
