So he let him talk. Convincing people. Slow, careful work. The sort of work someone from his past would have tried to say was the best way -- the kind that protected the weakest in the pack, and made sure the strong were hampered.

[ What they needed, was to accept the truth. If they didn't, they would have to find out the hard way. If they were now with newfound power, it would be harder, unless there was power to match. While Silco understood the need for words, convincing, he understood even more the need to take action. If they were going to be lost, and have more power, then what would be the reason to try to keep convincing them? They'd made their choice, after all.
Next time, they might be at them with knives and powers even more violent than before. ]
