They make it out of the house and down the street, both of their pairs of feet leading them to the local prison.

He sees Dextera approach, notes the way the young man's hand rests on the hilt of his sword - something new? he's never had one before - but he keeps moving forward silently and steadily. If Dextera wants to intervene, he'll have to do more than just walk forward. ]
