The Veneran man barely has time to gasp before he's whisked off his feet and taken to safety. It was a bit jarring, but perhaps a bit less then if he'd have been caught up in the girl's angry outburst. She hadn't even begun to think about the consequences of that, but thankfully the 'traitor' had taken care of things that for her. In doing so, he also reveals just how he'd managed to sneak up on her. It'd be impossible to notice, but there's a bit of wide eyed shock at just how unnaturally fast he's moving.
For once, there's no lashes from her barbed tongue. She doesn't have the breath to waste on them. And with her self confidence nearly as wounded as her body she is having a hard time coming up with a way out of this. Panic sets in. Is this fool actually going to best her? All it would take was one good blast and she could end it. But how could she get that one hit in? The panic makes its way to her face. "Stay away from me!" No insult, no threat, just an order she knows won't be followed.
Her good hand comes up, a trio of small orbs appearing and orbiting around it. While they lack the strength of the first, it is not so weak that it could easily be shrugged off. They are fired in rapid succession and, both thankfully and coincidentally, would fly nowhere near the cowering Veneran man if they were evaded this time.
