He can't lose sight of her, and he's already aiming to see how he can reach her and at least snap her bindings so she can run.
His eyes shift back to Eustace as he charges forward, flames lighting up his spear, aiming to swipe low and knock Eustace off his feet. That should hopefully buy Thoma some time to reach the prisoner. ]
