[Liem has to be smart with his resources to stay an active threat throughout the hour-long blitz assault pushing into the city. As dusk fades into night, supply caches stashed throughout the city serve his needs for ammunition, hydration, and first-aid, but there’s nothing he can do about the aches compounding in his tired and battered body. He’s kept pace with the Sanctifier and its entourage for almost the entire time they’ve been pushing into the city, and this far into the conflict, he’s beginning to pay for it quite keenly.
A lull in the action sees Liem holed up on the roof of a three-storey tenement, a longbow draped across his lap as he drinks from a flask originally strapped to one thigh. At some point over the course of the assault, he’d eyeballed the dragon flying overhead and opted to swap out his crossbow for something with a bit more weight to its projectiles. The bow has been less convenient to use when shooting down into the street, but up until recently, flying targets were plentiful enough that the trade was worthwhile. It’s only recently that he’s been able to duck behind the tenement roof’s low walls to catch his breath and rest his aching arms.
Letting out a low sigh, he frowns at the woman next to him, who manages to look even more haggard than him despite being fully and properly alive. A couple weeks’ rest and physical conditioning clearly wasn’t enough to prepare someone in her state for this kind of activity. He offers the flask her way, clarifying after a moment:]

It’s just water.
