They say a predator is most vulnerable right before it completes its strike, and in this case too Gray has no time to defend herself mid-attack as the Sanctifier's tail whips at her. She only manages an alarmed glance and an instinctive magical strengthening before the tail lashes her with incredible force, sending her flying as easily as a finger flicking an ant. She's eventually stopped by a building a block away, marking her exit from this battle.
