Knowledge of his realm was considered forbidden for a reason, though it largely amounted to the politics of demons. Say the wrong thing to the wrong human, and a detail ends up in a grimoire that can then be used in a few centuries to overturn a dukedom. Things like that. But as it's hardly a concern anymore, he ends up continuing. ]

...It may seem a bit odd, but in truth, we did not keep track of our history hardly at all. It was a bit of hypocritical arrogance on our part, certainly, but if you are a people who do not forget, then there is no reason for it to be recorded. So though humanity had forgotten some of the names they granted our kind, every word I have heard that could have been used for us came first from their lips, not ours.
