That said, far be it from Gray to push away Mordred's generosity when she's so adamantly insisting on it. Gray's own uneasiness at exposing her face and having someone else fiddle with it remains, but it isn't nearly so pronounced if she knows it will be Mordred. It's contradictory, but Mordred's discomfort brings her comfort.
