It's on an early morning, soon after making contact with the resistance, that he and Estinien happen to be out at the same time. The sun has risen, but the light remains obscured through the thick canopy, the morning mists taking on a faint glow. Truthfully, Estinien has already been out for a while, already having collected a kill, and is in the process of cutting it up. It's just a small catch, this time, which suits his purposes just fine.

Yet, he lifts his head at the sound of someone else nearby. He's settled somewhere just on the outskirts, near the pastures, and he catches sight of Hiccup wandering. Estinien watches him for a while, before noticing how out of it Hiccup truly seems, at which point he straightens up and calls out.

"Hail! Boy."

Estinien is currently perched on the top of a giant, fallen trunk, but he hopes that will be enough to get Hiccup to look up.
