He nods his head grimly, and for several moments he leaves it at that. He hates to think of it, really, but it seems inevitable. Just when he thought tempering was over.

"I've seen the kind," he eventually says. "If they were willing to tamper with the minds of their victims the first time, I see no reason they wouldn't again. The next time those shrines awaken, if they do... the ones that appear will be at risk of meeting a similar fate."
