The truth of it is, Anduin has simply kept going because he has to. He's running on adrenaline, but he's in pain. If he stops, the pain might become too much. He needs to keep going long enough that when he does stop, it's somewhere safe.
Still, Anduin cannot help but lean against Wrathion's side. He is warm, and the warmth is soothing. He revels in it for a few seconds, blinking slowly, then absentmindedly reaches out a hand toward Wrathion's neck, rubbing behind just at the back of his head like he might with a horse.
It is, perhaps, not entirely appropriate for a creature that is... sometimes human... but he's not really thinking about it. He's tired.
