All's well that ends well.

[ Amos is in full agreement there, even if things aren't quite so simple on Childe's end. Everything they'd gone through had been worth it; they'd been able to capture their prize, and they're finally getting to do something about this thing that needs — needs — to die. There isn't a whole lot he'd change.

(He'd felt Kaeya, Misa, and Gen's emotions as they'd transported his shard back so he could be revived. He'd change that part if he could. It had been one of the worst things he's ever felt, far too intimately at that, and he wants to take away that pain from them.

That's all he really knows about, though.) ]

But I mean, hey, that thing was fucking huge. Nobody'd blame you for being overwhelmed. It would've been hard not to be.

[ He had been, right up until Silco had hit him with a dose of shimmer and suddenly all concerns he'd had had melted away in a single-minded desire to kill it — but Amos is pretty sure he's more of an outlier there than anything else.

Still. Ah. Amos tips his wine glass slightly in Childe's direction, bringing attention to it. ]

Have you had any wine? It's pretty good.

[ In general... for any lingering nerves, maybe? Amos is fine; he'd be able to take whatever Childe gives him (whether he'd be able to give any decent advice in turn would be a whole other matter), but he'd also like for him to be doing well in general. Maybe wine can help with that. ]
