[ He turns to her at the sound of her voice, good mood carrying with his movement, returning her nod. ]

Hey, Ciel. I'm good.

[ It might be an understatement at this point — between reviving feeling more refreshed than ever, the accomplishment of having a soon-to-die enemy at the Regent's mercy in this room, and the knowledge that he'd played a bigger role in things than he'd known until he'd laid eyes on Estinien's form, he's feeling pretty fantastic. In this moment, at least — when he doesn't have to face the circumstances he'd thrust upon his murderers head on — it's difficult to imagine things being any better than they already are.

What he'd been looking at before she'd approached him, though. The fact that there are six spears, and the fact that Ciel is one of his peers whom he holds in particularly high regard. It catches his attention, though he knows better than to say anything.

Instead, he tilts his head back in the direction of Estinien's body, unbothered by its gruesome state. It's just a case of talk shit, get hit, and Estinien and the Innocence had gotten hit. What's holding them up is way more interesting. ]

Looks like we got them. [ We being thrown out very casually. A beat. ] How're things on your end?

[ It has been a little bit since they've seen each other. His fault, mostly, what with the dying and all. ]
