GODSBLOOD;

After arriving in Horos, characters will eventually find themselves being led by the Pleroma-aligned into the city proper. Whether you permit your new allies to guide you or stake out on your own, the city is a bustling, ever-busy place in a foreign world - and you are a stranger in hiding among it. Best to get your bearings, do a little exploration, and find some way to make ends meet. No one here has much to their name, and you're starting close to penniless. Where will you stay? Will you find work? Rely on the kindness of others? Whatever you choose to do, you'll be roughing it in one way or another. Maybe it doesn't sting so much if you think of it as a fresh start. (It still stings, doesn't it.)

GREENTRUTH;

However you make due, come mid-month - whether the invitation came by word of mouth or by another character's guidance to the underground portal leading to Greentruth - all Pleroma-attuned Aion will find a festival celebrating their arrival and awakening is getting underway as the sun begins to set and the evening hours arrive in the forest city. The Amphitheater has been decorated for the occasion; the massive bonfire is roaring, spreading warmth and light across the greenery and (mostly) amiable faces of your allies. Both the rebels occupying Greentruth and the Aion new to their number are welcome to share in food, drink, and enjoy one another's company: this is a Bonding Exercise.

Seating has been arranged to enjoy conversation by the fire; there are tables with a wide assortment of delicious-looking foods of all sorts scattered here and there for partaking at your leisure. Should you be thirsty, some local mead from Godsblood has been procured and some barrels painstakingly dragged all the way up here; please appreciate it to your heart's content. Local fermented fruits and honeys are also available if that tickles your fancy. (Someone getting raucously drunk is practically a requirement.) They're all chilled to perfection, too, in stout glasses that are being kept cold by certain slimes! Wow! Amazing.

Drink; eat; dance; relax. Mingle among your fellows. Talk business while you can. These will be the faces you depend on to survive henceforth.

▶ Your character must be aligned with the Pleroma to enter Greentruth. We set the mingle mid-month so most characters would have time to have chosen their sect.

This is a good way to start a conversation about the things that matter. (Or things that really don't; everyone deserves to decompress and eat some floor meat, man.)
