At its core, Kaeya thinks he can understand the concepts behind the Pleroma and the Kenoma. It isn't the first time he has encountered the notion of duality, and he can accept that for one side to exist, the other must be allowed to as well, but he knows that not everyone will be quick to see it that way. Still, there is one thing he can't help but wonder about.

After Gray sits down, he raises a hand politely to catch Makoto's attention. "One question, if I may," he starts, and a smile comes to him easily enough, "You mentioned that we are here to help this existence reach its destined end. Is that to restore balance? Since the Pleroma has disrupted it?"

He wants to know why the Pleroma refused too, but that might not be an answer anyone in this room can easily provide.
