It feels a lot like floating on calm waters. Kaeya doesn't answer for the longest time, as if distracted by something. There's no reaction from him when Emet-Selch says that he'll be here tomorrow, and the seconds drag on until it's almost painful. That pervading sense of peace is a lot more suffocating at this point too.
When Kaeya speaks again, this is all he has to say: "They're absolutely fine. Never better."
Any further attempts for clarification will be met with more unnerving silence until finally, there's nothing left of the connection they once shared. Kaeya manages to stay out of trouble for the most part, but he will be wandering around the empty streets of Venera aimlessly.
