Emet-Selch had certainly touched on the thing that would make Silco move. Did he care about the Regent? Not really, but the Regent was doling out the power, and he did care about that. About amassing more, and using it to rend and destroy everything around him, violent in lashing out.
He stood, and he shrugged. "Well, I suppose you are correct. I would hate to have the ire of the Regent leveled upon me," he said, and spread his hands, with a smile. "I've heard it's rather...humiliating."
He walked up to Emet-Selch then, and gestured for the door. "Shall we? I suppose they will have already scoured the city of threats by the time we make our way there, yes?"
