The general mood is a stark contrast to the pretty lights that are flickering about them. Kaeya hasn't moved an inch from where he is despite how many times his name has been called. He isn't looking at Emet-Selch, lone eye closing shut. It almost looks as if he isn't going to say anything, but after a while, he releases a sigh.
"I don't belong here," he says quietly. "They are father and son, and I'm just an outsider. I don't think there will ever be a day where I won't feel as I'm bothering them."
Despite what he's saying, his name continues to be called, coupled with promises of delicious food waiting for him inside the manor. It does appear as if the two care for Kaeya regardless of what he believes, but he stays right where he is.
"... If they knew the truth about me, they wouldn't want me anywhere near them at all."
