It's natural, isn't it? To value your own life over others. Doing otherwise is a sort of selflessness that I've never been able to attain, and it's not one that I'm going to insist on from anyone else.

I won't claim that I've never feared death. Maybe I still do. Being here feels different, though. It actually gives death some kind of meaning.
