Not long before coming here, my star was facing it's own apocalypse, all born out of...out of fear, despair, believing that there wasn't anything in this world left. It turned people into monsters, Misa. Literal monsters that devoured their loved ones and neighbors alike.

And there...there...there were these half-words--remnants of civilizations that had sought perfection, or annihilation, or ultimate peace. They, too, wanted only the best for their worlds. And they only found their own demise in the end.
