WHO: Misa & co.
WHAT: event aftermath!
WHERE: Achamoth, tiny smidge of Godsblood
WHEN: late Soviseri, early Firaseri
WARNINGS: will add if applicable!
I. early return (citadel, misa's room)
[ The return to Achamoth is, ironically, uneventful.
Misa is unconscious for most of it, and when she makes it back to the Citadel, those who see her right when the Godsblood envoy returns will see that she needs the servants' assistance walking to her quarters, and she favors weight far more to her right side. Even still, she doesn't wrap an arm around those who assist her, either, the reason for which is a net of bandages that cover and wrap around the entirety of her right shoulder.
Those who don't witness her directly may still become privy to her weakened state; she doesn't emerge from her quarters for a full day after after the return, which is highly unusual behavior for the outgoing and boisterous Misa, often seen around the Citadel bothering anyone she lays eyes on. Should any other Kenoma try to reach out to her with Communion, or further yet, knock at her door, she'll answer with a tired and irritable: ]
What is it? I'm trying to sleep, here.
II. later return (in the city)
[ When Misa gathers the strength to do more than keep herself contained to the Citadel, the first thing she tries to do is drag other people out with her. It's her number one way of dealing with anything unpleasant in life - to bury it, deeply, beneath something fun and happy and exciting. She's certain she won't be thinking about everything that happened in Godsblood if she spends a little time outdoors with a companion. And luckily, she'll drag just about anyone she knows out with her.
But it's perhaps that over eagerness to go do something to take her mind off things that prompts her to... push herself too fast. While she seems enthusiastic to go outdoors, the fact of the matter is that she's still not wholly herself - her hair remains un-styled, face bare of makeup, due to the lack of mobility in her right arm while it heals. Heavy blood loss in Godsblood has rendered her complexion a little paler than usual, and difficulty moving has rendered her wardrobe much less extravagant and cute than is typical of her outdoors fare.
Not long after she and her trusty out-on-the-town friend have made it away from the Citadel, she suddenly stumbles and slumps heavily in her companion's side in an uncharacteristically awkward fashion. ]
Woah...! I guess I'm still a little woozy.... [ She gives a nervous laugh, clearly trying to play off her dizzy spell— she even tries to reorient herself (with little success, still basically leaning into her Kenopal for support), sticking her tongue out cutely as if she'd just tripped on a rock instead of come close to fainting. ] Gosh, I feel so clumsy.

✦ closed to AMOS
She saw it— the Pleroma getting away, Ciel rushing to her side instead of going after them. In the heat of the moment, she'd honestly tried to focus on the pain of her injuries and the fear she felt having them tended to rather than think deeply about what the repercussions of their failure might be. It hadn't mattered much, anyhow— the severe bloodloss she experienced as a result of her injuries knocked her unconscious soon enough, and that way she has stayed for the majority of being brought here, aside from short, delirious moments where she opened her eyes briefly.
But now, she's waking up. As she comes awake, she registers that she's in a room, laying down - and that it doesn't feel like she can move much, not immediately. Before she can think rationally, a bolt of sheer, icy panic runs through her, probably immediately noticeable to Amos wherever he is within their shared lodgings through their Legacy - but this isn't her first rodeo with waking up in an unfamiliar room after passing out. It's not the ship they came on, and it's not the Citadel or the prison, so alarm bells go off before she can stop them. Misa tries to turn her head to look about the room, but before she gets a good look, the pain in her right shoulder screams at her from the movement, and she snaps her eyes shut again in a gasp, writhing what little amount she can from the pain. ]
Ow....
[ She's so caught up in her own ordeal that she fails to revisit her attempt to figure out where she is (or more importantly, who else might be in this room.) ]

✦ closed to EUSTACE
It's more than the injury that keeps her there. It's what she saw - a sight so similar to what had happened to her parents, right in front of her, a second time. She hadn't expected to feel anything, seeing people bleed or die. In Tokyo, she'd seen that after her parents died with no problems - with less of a reaction than a flinch. So why is it bothering her so much now?
There's really only one person who she thinks may have an answer for her, and it takes little deliberation for her to reach out to him. She'd felt disappointed, when she saw that Eustace had been given a different assignment than she had, too - and with the exhausted state she arrived back in Achamoth in, she hasn't even had a chance to see how Eustace is doing at all. Her own selfish reasons for calling out to him aside, she worries how he's faring - how anyone in Venera fared, for that matter.
He'll feel the push her of her Communion sooner or later, her voice's usual force tempered greatly by her lack of energy. ]
Eustace, can you come to my room? Pretty please?
[ Genuinely hurt and exhausted as she is, she still maintains a semblance of her typical level of dramatics - though with likely everyone in the Citadel struck down in some way, perhaps the seriousness of her request is made more obvious. ]
I need help. And I don't like asking the servants to do it...

While he pauses and allows her to lean/cling to him for support he'll after a moment shift to sweep her off her feet and pick her up bridal style with a light hum. ]
—Yeah, you're pretty clumsy today. Where's my graceful Misa? We'll fix it, though. [ there's no reason to out her, even if it's obvious to even people who don't know her that something is wrong. ]
All right, princess, I've got an idea. Let's take you to whatever Acamoth calls a spa. You deserve one after all the hard work you've done, my treat. [ yeah, he'll even join her in the activities if that makes her happy. He's a big brother, afterall, and he knows how to deal with teenage girls when they don't have anyone of similar age or of the same sex around to indulge with. ]
What do you think? My little sister loved going there when she would come to the city, since our small fishing village doesn't have those luxuries. [ regardless they are moving forward and anyone who glances their way for a second too long gets a steely eyes glare from Childe that moves them along. ]
After the spa, if you're still feeling clumsy, you can get a piggyback since it's a little crowded and you might trip again. We'll go shopping for a new outfit or two.

But the largest source of guilt is Misa. Part of the reason Howl paired up with her was to protect her. That, too, was another failure, and while it was technically less impactful than the greater failure they had all committed together, it stings more than failing the Regent. When Howl does not see Misa around the Citadel in the day following everyone's return, he starts to worry. And he can't help but reaching out. ]
I apologize. I've been worried about you, that's all.
[ Howl's mental 'voice' is soft, like he's still exhausted, although that's not entirely it either. ]

Because, in this moment, if there's anything at all that will help him keep his mind off of what had happened in Venera and, more importantly, what's happening in the Citadel as they speak, he'll take it.
So even when they've barely left the Citadel grounds before Misa suddenly stumbles into his side, Gen has no shitty retort to give. He does heave a brief sigh, but he only looks around for a moment before grabbing a hand at Misa's shoulder and herding her in a certain direction. Towards a streetside bench, she might realize if she looks up. ]
Sit.
[ Yeah he's just gonna call her out straight up. ]
You look like shit. If you fall over or something I can't -- [ A pause. Then Gen roughly pushes her to take a seat before finishing. ] -- I'm not about to carry you around, so.
[ To be fair, he probably can still carry her. Even with just one arm, his other sleeve hanging conspicuously empty at his side. It's just that, like a hypocrite, he doesn't want to acknowledge it just yet, even as he tactlessly points out Misa's own poor condition. ]

A Quick Communion
At some point, a few days after the confrontation, Misa will get a familiar communion request. Cait doesn't really expect an answer, but she still believes it to be the right thing to do.]
Hopefully you've been patched up properly. I hope you made it through all of the chaos.

a little bit of ii, a little bit of iii...lmk if this doesn't work!
He doesn't intend to meet up with Misa, but somehow they end up in the same place, and he doesn't reach out, because that's not what he does, but he doesn't stop her when she leaned against him, either. He does turn, slightly, and tip his head. ]
Too woozy?
[ He asked, eyeing her. Misa will see it, of course, that Silco also has his own changes. The reduction in his attunement is obvious to her, even if he can't see hers at the moment. He doesn't offer for her to sit, but after a moment, he's pulled away, because it's Silco, and of course he has. ]
You're still recovering?
[ He'd heard Godsblood had been...a mess. However... While he'd tried to keep an eye on who came back injured, many of them instinctively hid their injuries or pain. He hadn't been able to tell how severe it was. ]

for the time being, they can enjoy themselves, and...
at least, that was the plan until he feels her weight lean against him. his reaction is immediate: he steadies her with his hands and makes sure she doesn't lose her balance. ]
It happens to the best of us, but don't worry. I've got you.
[ despite looking tired and weary, with bandages peaking underneath his clothes, he still manages to look more concerned for her well-being. ]

✦ closed to EMET-SELCH, early firaseri
... If it can be called that. To be honest, it doesn't register to her as a new ability at all at first— all she knows is that she tried to pick up one of her various trinkets in her room, growing slightly frustrated with rearranging things, and boom, next thing she knew, it'd practically blown up in her hands. Mercifully, her mind doesn't immediately go towards the possibility that a bomb had been planted in her room (isn't this place a little medieval for that?), but rather to magic, instead. Maybe she's been inflicted with some kind of curse....
Anyway, she's very carefully making her ways through the Citadel halls, hoping she either runs into someone who knows what they're doing about magic, or that she can make it all the way to the training ground to see if she could make the magic wear off by... she doesn't know. Trying to wear the curse out? She's walking rather quickly down the lower halls of the Citadel, hands held suspiciously far apart and in front of her, when she nearly crosses paths with Emet-Selch. At present, nothing looks off about her hands, which makes the display seem all the stranger. ]
Woah— stay back!!
[ That's the most important thing to get out of the way. Stopping her gait, she tries to keep an even distance between them - she'll even walk backwards for a bit if he keeps advancing. ]
I, um— actually need your help! But you have to keep your distance, okay? And please don't walk off!!
