Luo Binghe is making his way furtively through the corridors of the Citadel. He's still pretty battered-looking, but he's managed to get his hands on some clothes that fit him somewhat instead of just bundling himself in the rags of the clothes he was wearing before this happened to him. You could take him pretty easily for one of the orphans who lives under the Regent's care, and indeed that's where he got the clothes, having spent the last couple of days since the Pleroma's raid on Achamoth lurking around the orphanage pretending to be an actual ten-year-old, in the hope that the side-effects of his qi deviation will pass quickly and nobody will have to know about this.
But it doesn't seem like they're going to. The orphanage was definitely better lodgings than he had when he was really this age, but there's only so long Luo Binghe can keep up the charade of a native Achamite child. At this point, he's going to have to just accept that everyone will have to see him like this and know it's him.
Right now, though, he isn't especially recognisable to the casual observer. He has the same thick, curly black hair, although it isn't quite as long, and the same big dark eyes and clear complexion, but unless you're very observant and age regression is a plausible conclusion to you... it looks like either one of the kids from the Regent's orphanage is trying to sneak into the Aions' quarters, or like an unusually young Aion has somehow escaped your notice since the last time the shrines were active.
Either way, when he runs into another Aion, he stops, visibly uneasy. He's thought over several options for how he wants to engage with his fellow Aions, should he encounter them on his way to his rooms, but he's still not sure which approach he wants to take...

Well, he'd been hoping that if it wasn't going to pass in a day, it would pass in a week, but it's been over a week now with no change. As such, Luo Binghe is attempting to get on with business as normal... at least as far as that's possible, as things currently stand. He can't exactly practice sword forms when he can barely lift his sword. It's just not the same doing it with a wooden toy :/
Right now he's in the kitchens, having decided for the first time in this debacle that he's going to cook for himself. His retainer accompanied him to the market to buy ingredients earlier in the day, but he's since dismissed them to do this on his own. He is now beginning to realise this may have been a mistake, because... the pan he was planning to use... Well,,
He Cannot Reach It.

Binghe is going to be stuck like this until partway through September; if you'd like to plan something with him I'm around in the game discord or hit me up atormery!
Also as always if you want to tag w brackets please go ahead and I'll match 👍

And, apparently, run into a child along the way.
This is the first time he's seen a kid alone in the kitchen, he's pretty sure, and he wasn't expecting it, if the way Amos ends up just standing there for a few seconds is any indication. Should they... are they allowed... does he know what he's doing...
...
"You need some help there?" he asks, because fuck it, worst case scenario maybe he can help make sure the kid doesn't set himself on fire or something.
Or at least get him that pan.

If he's willing to help, all the better. This situation was both extremely frustrating and making him feel stupid, for not having anticipated this problem; if the solution is this easy...
"... Yes," he says, giving Amos some of his best puppy dog eyes. "Can you get that pan for me...?"
no subject
"Sure," Amos says, making his way over and grabbing the pan, because he's a grown adult and he can just do that. He holds it out to Luo Binghe, still not entirely sure if a kid should be cooking on his own. Especially if he can't even reach the things he needs.
(He absolutely does not recognize him; the idea of people suddenly turning into kids is so beyond the scope of his reality — even here — that he isn't even going to think to question it. Not when the simplest explanation is probably the best one, and even though he can tell he's speaking to an Aion, the idea that someone he's already met is suddenly a kid...
... It's probably one of the newer guys. He was just dead for the better part of a week.)
"What're you making?" he asks, because he doesn't want to leave Luo Binghe alone, because he wants to make sure he doesn't get hurt, and because, well, he's here for food, too.
no subject
"Congee," he says, glancing at the ingredients he's set aside on the counter, and the larger pot he was able to reach already from a lower cabinet. He still doesn't have everything he needs yet...
He looks sideways at Amos, frowning slightly.
"... If you stay and help," he says, after what appears to have been some serious deliberation, "you can have some, if you want."
