[ The days since the raid have been filled with harrowing, drawn out hours: her own recovery, Kaeya's recovery, Eustace's defection, and Gen's strange disappearance all weigh heavily on her mind. As does the eventual, inevitable revival of their dear friend, Amos. Becasue— Misa has faith that he'll come back.

But she doesn't have faith he'll come back the same.

What if the ailment was permanent? What if Amos lashes out again, or randomly loses control when they're not expecting it? They never did find out what had caused it all to happen. Will they go down to the depths, only to land themselves in the same nightmare-ish scenario they'd barely escaped the first time? The lingering horror from the event, along with the tell-tale mark of her still existing injuries (most notably, her stiff, cast-wrapped right arm) keeps her majorly apprehensive about going down to check on him — alone, at least.

That's why when she and Kaeya actually do make an appearance, she makes a point of keeping close to him, hugging his arm as close as he'll let her - very close to the image and behavior of someone apprehensive of going into a haunted house. Even when they actually lay eyes on him - Amos is alive - that apprehension doesn't disappear, and neither does her clinging lessen. Her steps down the stairs still bear resistance, like she's actively trying to slow Kaeya down from getting too deep into the basement. But all that suspicion is accompanied by unbridled relief - something she can't restrain. ]

Ugh, I don't like this...

[ She whispers to Kaeya, first, when they're at the top of the stairs. Her eyes stay pinned to Amos's form as they descend, searching out his identity for herself with her name revealing eyes. He looks so weird, she almost says, before Amos actually says something to them, which means he's... alive. He's there again. Able to respond and think and feel something that isn't all-consuming rage. Misa's heart clenches, concern and worry and anguish and hurt all mixing into a strange, unintelligible feeling without a name, spilling out from the interior of her heart. Her grip around Kaeya shifts as the pair make it to the bottom step of the stairs, loosening enough to let him pull free, if that's what he wishes - though she certainly won't complain about keeping him nearby. ]

Amos... [ She responds, still watching him carefully, as if she's expecting the other shoe to drop any minute. ] You're really... okay?

[ Physically? Mentally— is he truly back to his normal self? It's hard to tell from just a single word, so she remains nervous, almost awkwardly lagging near the bottom of the stairs. ]
